One of South Africa's leading wine producers, Nederburg has invested £1million in its cycling partnership with Team Dimension Data (TDD) who ride for South African Non-Profit Qhubeka.

The sponsorship, launched in 2016, helps to raise funds to help move people in Africa forward with bicycles. With bicycles, people can travel faster and further, and simply carry more.

Nederburg are donating 5p from every purchase of its select 1791 range and 56 Hundred range wines to the Qhubeka charity as part of the #DoYourPart campaign. In addition, they have launched a competition to win a Cervelo road bike.

You can easily spot the #DoYourPart wines by looking out for their vibrant neck collars (as seen in the image). The 1791 range will be available nationwide in selected Sainsburys stores and the Nederburg 56 Hundred range will be available nationwide in selected Tesco and Asda stores, with the wines available until summer 2019.

The #DoYourPart campaign also encourages you to fundraise by logging the miles you ride on www.nederburgbelieves.co.uk

With Qhubeka’s support, Nederburg has established its first bicycle assembly facility on its estate in South Africa. The facility now produces a minimum of 5,000 purposebuilt bicycles a year. These bicycles are distributed into communities to improve people’s
quality of life. Bicycles create opportunities that would have been impossible on foot, such as access to schools, clinics and jobs.
